    We believe in a more collaborative approach than traditional accelerators. We will become an integral part of your team, acting as either a Director, a Non Exec Director, General Counsel, COO or CMO.

    This unique relationship allows us to work closely with you to realise the goals you have set for your business. It also means our clients can access services that would otherwise be off-limits due to the prohibitive cost of professional services.

    NEDSTART is not a law firm but our founder, Ned Lewis, is a regulated lawyer with 7 years of private practice experience. He will happily come on board and provide in-house legal advice if required.

Our experience in private practice means we understand how law firms charge and operate. This allows us to better instruct lawyers about how to deliver exactly what you need.
      Acting as the go-between gives our clients comfort in the knowledge that the clock is not always on and that they are receiving focused and cost-effective advice.

      Who are we?

      Ned Lewis

      I love new ideas. But I often find new ideas rarely get off the ground because it’s too hard to find the right people, the right support, and all at the right time. More often than not, you simply can’t afford to do it.

      I make it affordable. Because of that desire, I occupy multiple executive positions (such as General Counsel and Non Exec Director roles) at various disruptive and cutting-edge businesses.

      I focus on supporting businesses, navigating operations, legals, scale and grow. I am also an active angel investor, having built up a mature portfolio of start-up companies over the last 6 years.

      As a qualified and regulated lawyer, I act as in-house legal adviser to a number of hand-picked clients. I’ve built up a strong network over the years, ranging from accountants, lawyers, recruitment agencies, software developers, graphic designers, IT specialists, website developers, marketers, to investors.

      I like to work closely with founders and management teams to help them navigate their financing needs and drive the company’s growth. Every early stage business is unique, but many of the challenges they face are similar.

      Having spent my career working with small & mid-sized companies (both private and public), I’ve built knowledge and expertise across a number of sectors, as well as an extensive network of contacts in the UK and internationally.

      I will consult in-house with businesses on financing strategy and structuring, as well as make introductions to the right investors and capital providers. I can also support management with corporate development, partnerships and investor relations.

      Having spent my career working with small & mid-sized companies (both private and public), I’ve built knowledge and expertise across a number of sectors, as well as an extensive network of contacts in the UK and internationally.

      I will consult in-house with businesses on financing strategy and structuring, as well as make introductions to the right investors and capital providers. I can also support management with corporate development, partnerships and investor relations.

      We work within a range of industries including sport, fantasy sports, entertainment, creative, tech, gaming and gambling. However, if your business falls outside these sectors, that’s not a problem.
